Project Research

Research (i) Proposals for studies/research are being invited from time to time from universities, research organisations, schools of social work, autonomous organisations, media personnel, renowned institutions working in the field, individuals, etc. for empirical, participatory and action oriented research and other studies having strong relevance to promotion of communal harmony and strengthening of national integration. (ii) Universities/ Educational Institutions have been entrusted with study of certain subjects relating to communal harmony etc. and financial assistance/ cost of study is being reimbursed to them. Studies so far completed are as follows:
  • Perception of youth about religion and violence in the name of religion: A study of the urban slum youth in Mumbai’ by the College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan Institute, Mumbai, 2001. (Highlights)
